H1N1: More Varsities And Schools Closed

In PERAK, the 14,000 students of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in Tanjung Malim were ordered to return home after 435 students were reported to be suffering from ILI.

The Health Ministry ordered the campus closed for a week beginning today until Aug 3. Only about 4,000 students of the university were staying in the hostels while the rest were staying outside the campus.

A spokesman from the Operations Room of the Perak Health Department said the department was awaiting the full report from the District Health Office to determine the number of students affected and whether there was any increase in the number of cases.

"Currently, we are still investigating the blood samples taken from the affected students to determine whether they were positive of influenza A (H1N1)," he told Bernama when contacted Wednesday.

The Chairman of the Perak State Health Committee, Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said all students infected with ILI previously had been quarantined in one block before the order for the closure of the campus was issued.

Last week, all students of the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Seri Iskandar, Perak had been ordered to return home for one week after 10 blood samples taken from students infected with ILI were confirmed positive of the H1N1.

Sekarang yang sedang gelak ketawa gembira ialah ribuan kerbau pendek di seantero dunia. Disebabkan virus daripada makhluk ni la kita manusia yang menjadi korban. Dunia akhir zaman, macam2 penyakit dah mula muncul dan semakin menular di kalangan manusia masa kini. Apa yang penting sekarang ni, kita yang masih sihat walafiat dan masih berisiko untuk dijangkiti virus bila-bila masa je ni hendaklah sentiasa mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga. Aku pun sebenarnye tak suke pakai mask ni. Panassss! So better aku kurangkan aktiviti luar bilik melainkan pegi kelas and cari makan. Aku jugak berdoa supaya kawan-kawan aku baik di kampus ni or officemates aku di luar sana mintaklah dijauhkan dari dijangkiti killer virus ni. Be strong k..mkn byk2 multivitamin :)

peringatan : jika korang sekalian dah start selsema, batuk2 dan demam..cepat2 la g jumpa doc! prevent is better than cure.

blur! nothing's to do! aku baru balik dr ngeteh ngn alia kt ameeth. naik bilik n see my soulmate waiting her meal :) seriously symptom2 kemalasan masih menyelubungi diri tapi aku tak bleh terus mcm ni. ni la akibatnye if terlalu skit class. ikutkan hati mau je aku tido tp nanti aku nyesal sendiri. aku mau ke irc mencari source utk fyp 1 aku di sebalik rak2 10 meter yang berdiri teguh di sana. tapi aku malas! alahai..mane semangat2 aku selama ni. kembalikan! dah lepas ni aku wajib ke sana jugak. where there's a will there's a way! aku mau submit smua report ms intern aku kat Dr. F. settlekan smua. dont look back anymore!

aku suka falsafah ni..

semua benda yang jadi,ada sebab dan hikmahnya.
mungkin bila 1 benda jadi,baru kita akan sedar tentang kesilapan yang kita buat.
